Newsflash from Tuesday, December 2025:
Double investigation on Friday, December 5, 2025, for Giorgos Horafas and 🐕🦺Nesi in the Municipality of Ierapetra. In the first case, the autopsy was performed in Pano Chorio, following a report from a citizen about two dogs that were possibly poisoned (one did not survive) near the village. The investigation did not find any bait or dead animals, but there are several stray 🐈🐈🐈cats throughout the village. If this was indeed a case of poisoning, it was most likely targeted.

George’s second investigation with 🐕🦺Nesi on Friday, December 5, 2025, took place in the village of Ai Giannis in Ierapetra, after a citizen reported the poisoning of his 🐕dog (it has escaped danger). During the autopsy, Nesi marked only one spot, where there was a plastic container with dog food and several dead insects, indicating the use of a toxic substance. The competent forestry service was informed of the incident and a complaint was filed against persons unknown.
