The Wine Tasting Day & Commemorative Collector’s Wine Competition invites wine lovers, culture enthusiasts, and travelers to celebrate the untamed spirit of Zorba the Greek—through a glass of wine.
A Creative Challenge Inspired by Zorba
In collaboration with 13 leading wineries of Crete, the Museum’s scientific team has set a bold creative challenge: to translate the essence of Alexis Zorbas into wine. Authentic, multifaceted, unconventional, and vibrant—each participating winery presents a blind-tasted wine inspired by Kazantzakis’ iconic hero.
Which wine will best capture Zorba’s free spirit? That question will be answered by a distinguished panel of experts:
