According to local reports, the man was pulled from the water shortly after 3:30 p.m. by fellow swimmers who immediately began performing CPR in an effort to revive him. Despite their quick response, the man remained unresponsive. Emergency medical services (EKAB) arrived promptly at the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
